Everyday migrant women travel to the Middle East in the hope of securing a better future for themselves and their families. Every day coffins with the labels of Middle Eastern Airlines land in the origin countries with the bodies of dead migrants.

In the context of Lebanon many migrant women try to escape their abusive employers by scaling down the balconies, falling to their death. These are often labeled by the police who do little investigation into the causes of migrant deaths as, accidents or suicides.

This series of photographs are a continuation into my long-term investigation of the plight of migrant domestic workers in the Middle East.

The photographs are made from passport photocopies, given to me by NGO's, Embassies and Human Rights Organisations.
